What we aim for

Fahrschule Erste Liga works to make this website usable by everyone — whatever your limitations in seeing, hearing, moving or understanding. The yardstick is the requirements of EN 301 549 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conformance level AA.

State of conformity

This website is partially conformant with the requirements named above. It was built with accessibility in mind from the start:

• Full keyboard operability, a visible focus ring, a skip link to the content.
• Semantic HTML with a heading structure and landmarks; forms with labels and error messages that assistive technology reads out.
• High colour contrast on a dark background; information is never carried by colour alone.
• All animations respect the system setting “reduce motion” and switch themselves off when it is on.
• Fonts and icons are self-hosted; the core content of the site works without JavaScript.

Content that is not accessible

• The interactive map on the location page is only loaded from Google after you consent; how usable it is rests with that third party. The address and directions are also given as text on the same page.
• A few decorative graphics and photos deliberately carry empty alternative text; a full expert review by external auditors is still outstanding.
