Anything that together makes a combination of at most 4,250 kg: heavy horseboxes, large boat trailers, plant trailers. What counts is the total of towing vehicle plus trailer, not the trailer alone.
Above a 4,250 kg combination you need Klasse BE. That requires its own practical exam, but no theory exam, and in return allows combinations up to 7,000 kg. We'll tell you honestly which of the two fits your outfit.
B96 is valid EU-wide. Outside the EU other rules may apply — check the regulations of your destination before you travel.
