How it runs
Step by step. No theatre.
- Registration01 / 05
Sign up & paperwork.
We handle the application to the Straßenverkehrsamt. You do the Sehtest, the first-aid course and the photo in parallel — so nothing waits on anything.
- Theory02 / 05
Build the knowledge.
Lessons every day — you pick your rhythm. The learning portal is included, so you can practise at your own pace at home.
- Theory test03 / 05
Theory. Passed.
The Theorieprüfung at the TÜV. We book you in when you're ready — clear preparation, no guesswork.
- Practice04 / 05
Lessons. Until it clicks.
As many hours as you need, no more and no fewer. Honest feedback after every session, and progress you can see.
- Licence05 / 05
Licence. Off you go.
You've got it — and you actually trust yourself with it. Safe, calm, first-division. That's the promise.
Manual or automatic
One car. Two routes to the test.
You learn on a manual here. If you'd rather, you sit the practical test in an automatic and are still allowed to drive any manual afterwards. We'll tell you straight which of the two suits you.
- Klasse B: training and test on a manual gearbox
- Klasse B197: test in an automatic, manual stays permitted
- No Schlüsselzahl 78 restriction entered on your licence
Why Erste Liga
Training at first-division level.
- 01
No dead time
Lessons every day, driving slots scheduled tightly together. Your time is worth something — we treat it that way.
- 02
Test-ready, genuinely
We only put you forward when you actually are ready. No surprises, no second attempt you didn't need.
- 03
Manual & automatic
You learn on a manual — or on an automatic with Klasse B197 if you'd rather. We'll tell you honestly which suits you.
Compulsory lessons
Sonderfahrten. Without the dread.
The Sonderfahrten — motorway, cross-country and night drives — are the part most people respect the most. Which is exactly why we take them calmly, as often as it takes until they feel ordinary.
- Joining, changing lanes and keeping distance at motorway speed
- Country roads with real oncoming traffic
- Driving in the dark, in the wet and in poor visibility
Good to know
Klasse B. Clear answers.
From the age of 17 years and 6 months. With BF17 you sit the test at 17; the standard minimum age is 18. Registering early pays off, because the Straßenverkehrsamt needs around 4–6 weeks for the application alone.
The Grundbetrag, the driving lessons and the Vorstellungsentgelte are all in our price list — no small print. The TÜV's own test fees come on top; the TÜV sets those itself.
With steady effort, 3–5 months is realistic. Factor in the roughly 4–6 weeks the Straßenverkehrsamt needs, and factor it in early — it runs alongside your theory.
Yes. With Klasse B197 you sit the test in an automatic and may still drive a manual afterwards — with no Schlüsselzahl 78 entered. Ask us whether it makes sense for you.
B1 does not exist as a separate class in Germany — the EU category is simply part of Klasse B here. B96 extends B to combinations up to 4,250 kg (a course only, no test), B196 allows 125cc light motorcycles after rider training, and B197 means: the test in an automatic, while you may still drive a manual afterwards.
Two years' probation from the date of your test, a 0,0 alcohol limit and a stricter view of any offence. One serious offence can extend the probation to 4 years and bring an Aufbauseminar with it.
