Driving licence prices
What a driving licence costs in Langenfeld comes down to three things: the Grundbetrag, your driving lessons and the Vorstellungsentgelte. This page explains what you are paying for. The actual amounts are on the price list — all of them, always current.
What the price is made of
Four items. No surprises.

Grundbetrag
Once, when you register
It covers registration, administration and the theory lessons — however many theory sessions you end up attending.

Driving lessons
Per lesson of 45 minutes
Übungsfahrten in town traffic and the Sonderfahrten the law requires (motorway, cross-country, night). You pay for what you drive.

Vorstellungsentgelte
Per test appointment
Due when we present you for the theory and for the practical test. The practical one includes providing the car. The TÜV's own fees you settle separately with the testing organisation.

Extras
Only if you need them
Everything optional: the theory learning app, the manual-gearbox assessment drive for B197, refresher lessons. You book only what you need.
No package sold to you up front. You pay for what you drive.
How many lessons you need is decided by your progress. The compulsory ones are fixed by law; everything beyond them we discuss with you honestly.

Grundbetrag, Übungsfahrten and Sonderfahrten, Vorstellungsentgelte and extras — every item broken out on its own. Offers are already worked into the figures there, so you never see two different prices for the same thing.

All prices include VAT. TÜV fees are charged separately.
