Drive to win

Driving licence classes.

B, B197, BF17, BE and B96 — every class that leads to a car licence. Below they stand side by side: when you may start, what gets tested, and what you may drive afterwards.

Still unsure?

Decide by what you plan to do.

  • First licence, manual or automatic: Klasse B.
  • You want to be tested in an automatic and still drive a manual: B197.
  • You are 16 or 17 and want to start earlier: BF17.
  • Your combination stays under 4,250 kg: B96, a course with no test.
  • Your combination goes heavier, up to 7,000 kg: BE with its own practical test.

Still can't tell which one?

Call us and we'll sort it out in five minutes. And if what you want first is the cost: every price is listed in full on the price list.

First lesson

Whatever the class. Same beginning.

The first driving lesson is the same exercise in every class: getting used to a vehicle without anyone honking behind you. That is why it starts where there is space.

  • Pulling away, braking, steering, calmly
  • The set manoeuvres without an audience
  • Public roads only after that
